Scotty Gall 1903 -1996

Ernest James Gall was my Great Uncle. He left Fraserburgh, Scotland, to search out a better life in Canada. He worked for the Hudsons' Bay Company but I never knew that he was the first person to navigate a vessel through the Bellot Straits of the Northwest Passage in one season. As of 2010 I also have a good "detective" friend from Canada, George Duddy, digging up interesting facts about Scotty Gall's life. Thank you, George, for all your help and encouragement throughout this project.
